Romace Marketing Materials

I created the itch.io page for our game, alongside handling marketing material creation and distribution. My team-mate Eleanor's fantastic sprites are prevalent within many of the marketing materials because I wanted to showcase the amazing work they created for our game!

I created the game's title logo once the team had decided on a name for the game, Romace, a play on romance and the core aspect of asexuality within our game.

The initial game page and branding felt uninviting to me, largely due to the muted colour-pallette throughout, this was done initially due to utilising the direct colours of the asexual flag for the game page, and El's muted background on the early character introduction imagery.

Below is the current brand design of the game page. I feel it's more inviting to the player than the muted colours used during pre-production. I managed to still incorporate the asexual flag within the marketing imagery, making use of more relaxed off-set elipses instead of harder edged and angular shapes used earlier on, as I believe this adds some more approachability of the game page.

Below are some earliest iterations of the marketing graphics, there were following the design of the character profile created by El during pre-production stages of our collaborative honours project;
